The first chilenos I’ve met were on holidays in the Galapagos, we got along straight away and they invited me to visit them. It was my first contact with the natural kindness of these people. I’ve landed in Santiago, visited my friends, attended Pancho‘s birthday party (so cool to feel part of a family), then visited Valparaiso with a shaman from Cuzco/Peru. With him, I continued down south to Temuco, where an internal journey took place. It was a great experience, and after a few days I continued on my own towards Patagonia, stopping by the small village of Pucon to climb up the Villarica volcano and hike in the surrounding national park of Huerquehue (don’t ask me, I still don’t know how to pronounce that today). I have visited a very small part of Chile, and it was enough to see it as a destination I will be coming back to very soon.
